About the Founder
I’ve spent most of my life exploring the world, working at sea, navigating remote coastlines and guiding wildlife-rich destinations from the Great Barrier Reef to the Indian Ocean and far beyond. Along the way, I’ve been fortunate to meet incredible people, share stories, and collect a lifetime of local knowledge from different cultures and countries.
But of all the places I’ve seen, it was the Port Douglas and Daintree Region that truly changed me. The reef, the rivers, the rainforest, the people the slow rhythm of nature, and the rare magic of its wildlife all pulled me in. After years of travel, shifting tides and airport terminals, I finally chose this place as more than a destination, I made it my home.
I settled in Port Douglas, drawn by my connection to the Great Barrier Reef, ecosystems and community, and supported by partnerships with experienced operators and people in the community.
Living between reef, rainforest and the sun of FNQ has shaped everything I do, and continues to inspire the journeys I design today.
In a fast moving world dominated by giants, travel has become rushed, amplified convenience, templated, and increasingly impersonal, showed us the cost, less human connection, less care, less personal presence. I believe that now, more than ever, the biggest value in tourism is authenticity. That longing for a real conversation. A real person. Real presence.
That’s why I built Port Douglas Luxe Tours & Limousines around carefully chosen partners . No scripts, no call centres, no mass tours, just my guests, and the wild heart of the tropics. It allows every charter to be personal, thoughtfully paced, and shaped by the people on board, not by quotas or shareholders.
As someone who loves connecting across cultures, I also bring multilingual hospitality to every journey.
For my European guests, this isn’t just a nice-to-have, it creates ease, trust, laughter, nostalgia, and a shared rhythm that big corporations can’t replicate.
